Τα φαγητά τους δεν είναι απλώς φαγητά ενός ντελιβεράδικου, αλλά είναι πολύ ψαγμένα και με πρωτότυπες ενώσεις υλικών. Για να βρείτε το μαγαζί είναι καλό να το βάλετε στο GPS γιατί αλλιώς δεν θα το βρείτε ποτέ.
Αν είναι καλοκαίρι και καλός ο καιρός, θα φάτε σε ένα από τα τραπεζάκια που είναι στη μικρή αυλή. Στον εσωτερικό χώρο δεσπόζει η κουζίνα και 3-4 τραπέζια. Διαβάστε όμως τι μπορείτε να φάτε.
Ψητά λαχανικά με κους κους και αμύγδαλα, κολοκύθια γεμιστά με καγιανά και μπεσαμέλ φέτας, θράψαλα με σπανάκι και μαυρομάτικα, καπνιστή πέστροφα Ταϋγέτου φενόκιο και τηγανητές αγκινάρες, αγκινάρες Μικρομάνης στο τηγάνι με σπιτική μαγιονέζα.
Οι τιμές ανά φαγητό κυμαίνονται ανάμεσα από 5 ευρώ έως μαξιμουμ 14 ευρώ. Το μενού δεν είναι το ίδιο κάθε μέρα. Εξαρτάται πάρα πολύ από το τι καλά βρίσκει ο Γιάννης στην αγορά ή από το τι έχει παραγγείλει από τα γύρω χωριά.
Και ο Γιάννης και η Μαρία είναι ιδιαίτερα φιλόξενοι. Θα κουβεντιάσετε μαζί τους, θα σας εξηγήσουν τη φιλοσοφία τους και θα πιείτε μαζί τους ένα ποτήρι κρασί.
Στην Καλαμάτα οι Βερσαλλίες είναι must.
